Information about DTF textile transfers

Which fabrics are suitable for TH4 transfers?

TH4 transfers can be applied to most fabrics, whether light or dark. Cotton is one of the most suitable materials for our transfers.
Synthetic materials (nylon, polyester, etc.) are more delicate substrates. In all cases, it is essential to carry out a pressing and washing test before any production to ensure that the transfer is compatible with the chosen substrate.

What types of transfers do you offer on TH4?

We offer universal DTF textile transfers. Our DTF transfers are delivered pre-cut.

A DTF (Direct To Film) transfer is a "universal" textile transfer printed on film, which you can apply to your textiles using a heat press. The ink is deposited on the film, covered with an adhesive powder, then polymerized: during pressing, the image is permanently fixed to the textile.

What files are accepted for creating transfers?

For technical information (type of files allowed, weight, resolution, line thickness, maximum dimensions, etc.), please refer to the technical specifications on the transfer product sheet.

Do you offer file verification before production?

Our online tool allows you to check the rendering before validation, but no human verification is performed; files are produced as supplied.

What transfer colors do you offer?

We only offer four-color (CMYK) transfers. Pantone, fluorescent, metallic, or specific colors cannot be reproduced.

How should transfers be stored before use?

Transfers must be stored away from sunlight and dust, at a temperature between 15 and 30°C, for a maximum of one year.

What precautions should be taken before production?

It is mandatory to perform a pressing and washing test on the final fabric to check the appearance and durability of the transfer.

What temperature, pressure, duration, and peeling should I use for my transfers?

Temperature: approximately 150°C
Duration: 12 to 15 seconds
Pressure: medium to high
Hot peeling

How to apply a TH4 transfer correctly?

Always press on a flat surface without steam, using a heat press. We recommend using a sheet of parchment paper during application.
To achieve the best pressing results for your transfers, we do not recommend using an iron.

How should I wash my items with transfers?

Items personalized with TH4 transfers must be washed with care to preserve the quality of the marking.
Here are the recommendations:
Washing temperature: maximum 40°C.
Ironing: only inside out, to avoid damaging the transfer.
Tumble dryer: not recommended.
Dry cleaning: not recommended.
These instructions apply in order to guarantee the durability and appearance of the textile markings.
