Which textiles are suitable for TH4 transfers?
TH4 transfers can be applied to most textiles, whether light or dark. Cotton is one of the most suitable materials for our transfers.
Synthetics (nylon, polyester, etc.) are more delicate substrates. In all cases, it is imperative to carry out a pressing and washing test before production, to ensure that the transfer is compatible with the chosen substrate.
What types of transfers do you offer on TH4?
We offer two types of textile transfers: DTF transfers, delivered pre-cut, and SeriCoat transfers, delivered cut.
The TH4 system automatically determines the type of transfer according to the quantity and surface area to be printed.
For SeriCoat, 3 types of screen transfers are available:
Sericoat C: colored textiles - no contour, not suitable for fine elements
SeriCoat CE: colored textiles with fine elements - good legibility of fine elements (slight visible outer contour close to the textile shade)
Sericoat W: white textiles - best results on white textiles
Which files are accepted for creating transfers?
For technical information (authorized file types, weight, resolution, line fineness, maximum dimensions, etc.), please refer to the technical specifications please refer to the technical information given on the transfer product sheet.
Do you offer pre-production file verification?
Our online tool enables you to check the rendering before validation, but no human verification is carried out. Files are produced as supplied.
What transfer colors do you offer?
We exclusively offer four-color process transfers (CMYK). Pantone, fluorescent, metallic or specific shades cannot be reproduced.
How should transfers be stored before use?
Transfers should be stored away from sunlight and dust, between 15 and 30°C, for a maximum of one year.
What precautions should be taken before production?
It is compulsory to carry out a pressing and washing test on the final textile to check the transfer's rendering and durability.
What temperature, pressure, duration and peeling should I use for my transfers?
Temperature: approx. 150°C
Duration: 12 to 15 seconds
Pressure: medium to high
DTF: hot peel
SeriCoat: cold peel
How do I apply a TH4 transfer correctly?
Always press on a flat, steam-free surface, using a heat press. We recommend using a sheet of greaseproof paper during application.
How do I wash my items with transfers?
Personalized items with TH4 transfers should be washed with care to preserve the quality of the branding.
Here are the recommendations:
Washing temperature: maximum 40°C.
Ironing: inside out only, to avoid damaging the transfer.
Tumble-drying: not recommended.
Dry-cleaning: not recommended.
These instructions apply to both DTF and SeriCoat transfers, to guarantee their durability and appearance.
