During the recycling process, tracers are integrated into the yarn, namely viscose and ceramic filaments that serve as a unique digital fingerprint. These tracers reflect light in a specific way and carry a unique and unalterable code. This allows all information related to the processes to which the yarn has been subjected to be stored in a blockchain chain. Thanks to the Aware™ tracer technology and the corresponding blockchain platform, Kimood offers the end consumer the possibility to follow the entire production process, thus guaranteeing that the product has been recycled from clean waste, without any possible alteration of the process.
